Our first Cape White (Port style) was created by chance in 2013 by Alvaro Roseira, our Portuguese intern that year. Initially started as a skin ferment Chenin Blanc that Alvaro said we should fortify to make a port wine. Drier than you think, strangely nutty and yet with that delicious fruit of the Chenin Blanc. Drink neat or mixed with tonic and a slice of orange as a delicious aperitif.
